Plagiarism Policy

The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Explorer (IJMRE) maintains a strict policy against plagiarism to ensure the originality and integrity of all published work.

All submitted manuscripts are thoroughly checked using iThenticate and Turnitin plagiarism detection software. Authors are also strongly encouraged to check their manuscripts before submission to avoid any unpleasant situation.

Acceptable Similarity Criteria:

  • Similarity Index above 30% → Article Rejected
  • Similarity Index between 10–30% → Article Returned to Author for Improvement
  • Similarity Index below 10% → Article Accepted (minor citation improvements may be required)

In all cases, authors should carefully revise their manuscripts, properly cite all sources, and rewrite any outsourced content in their own words. A revised Turnitin report showing similarity below 10% must be submitted along with the improved version.

Additional Plagiarism Screening Stages:

  1. Upon initial submission
  2. After peer-review revisions (if applicable)
  3. Before the final publication-ready version is approved

IJMRE reserves the right to reject or retract any manuscript found to contain plagiarized material at any stage of the review or publication process.

Please respect the work of other researchers by quoting, paraphrasing, and citing properly in your article.
