Abstract

Biomedical waste generated in dental clinics and hospitals if improperly managed can lead to various health hazards to all the doctors, patients, and other dental health care service providers who work in dental offices or hospitals. Each dental health care provider should know about the handling and disposal of biomedical waste. Training should be provided to all health care workers, involved in handling biomedical waste management. Guidelines are given by WHO(World Health Organization, Centre for disease control, central pollution control board(government of India), Delhi health mission, and other organizations are provided in this article
